What’s New
You can now keep the bot asleep indefinitely after sending a message manually or through a workflow.
Previously, the bot would automatically wake up after a maximum of 48 hours. With this update, you have full control to ensure the bot never reactivates unless you explicitly choose to do so.
By simply turning off the “Reactivate bot after” option, the bot will remain asleep permanently for that contact.
How It Works
When “Send Bot to sleep when I send a message manually or through workflow” is enabled, the bot goes to sleep immediately after a manual or workflow-triggered message.
If “Reactivate bot after” is checked, the bot will wake up after the specified time.
If the checkbox is turned off, the bot will never wake up automatically.
How to Configure
Go to Bot Settings
Enable “Send Bot to sleep when I send a message manually or through workflow”
Under Reactivate bot after:
Turn OFF the checkbox to keep the bot asleep indefinitely
(Optional) Turn it ON and set a time if you want the bot to wake up automatically
Save your changes
Why It Matters
Previously, users were forced to choose a reactivation time (up to 48 hours), even when they wanted full manual control.
This update gives you flexibility to completely pause the bot when needed.
This helps:
Prevent bots from interrupting manual conversations
Maintain full human control over sensitive or high-touch interactions
Avoid unexpected bot reactivation after workflows or admin messages
