Dashboards and Reporting

Custom values support in dashboards and reporting

πŸ‘€

What's New?

  • You can now insert custom values into dashboard/report widget conditions and elements using the new {} picker.

  • Supported in widget conditions β€” wherever you enter a text value (e.g. Source field).

  • Supported in dashboard elements β€” Embed (URL), Title, or Text box.

  • Location fields available: Location Id β€’ Location Name β€’ Email β€’ Phone β€’ Website β€’Address β€’ City β€’ State β€’ Country β€’ Postal Code β€’ Timezone

  • User fields available: User Id β€’ Email β€’ Phone β€’ Role β€’ Type β€’ First Name β€’ Last Name β€’ Name β€’ Full Name.

  • Custom values β€” everything you've created under Settings β†’ Custom values is available in the picker, organised by folder.

  • Tokens resolve automatically per sub-account when the dashboard is viewed.

πŸ‘· How It Works:

  1. Open a dashboard and switch toEdit mode.

  2. Add or edit a widget β€” go to the Conditions tab. Or add an Element (Embed, Title, or Text box).

  3. Click the {} button next to any text input field.

  4. Browse or search across Location, User, or Custom values.

  5. Select a field β€” the token is inserted (e.g. {{ location.name }}).

  6. Save. Switch to View mode β€” the token resolves to the real value for that location automatically.

🌟Why It Matters:

  1. One dashboard for every location β€” build a single dashboard template and every sub-account sees their own name, address, and data β€” no duplication needed.

  2. Dynamic embed URLs β€” insert a location ID or custom value into an embed URL so each location loads their own external report automatically.

  3. Personalised dashboard experience β€” titles, text boxes adapt per location, making dashboards feel purpose-built for each client.

  4. Faster agency setup β€” what used to take multiple manual setups now takes one.

Notes:

  1. Custom value insertion is available to dashboard editors only.

  2. If a token has no value set for a location, it resolves as blank in view mode.

  3. Location and User system fields are available by default β€” no setup needed. Custom values require prior setup under Settings β†’ Custom values.
